Paige was a victim of leaked videos and photos which were very private in nature. Her life began spiraling out of control as she fell into depression because of it.
Paige has a movie “Fighting With My Family” being released, which is about her journey to the WWE. She spoke to The New York Post where she revealed how she was able to get through her unfortunate situation.
“To be publicly humiliated like that was terrible, and I don’t wish that for anyone.”
“I didn’t go to work; I didn’t do anything. I felt so rock bottom.”
Paige said that everything changed for the better when a seven-year-old fan approached her in a supermarket.
“Of course, she didn’t have the internet and thought I was the most beautiful and most successful woman in the world. It opened my eyes to so many things. I was like, ‘I’m gonna let videos get in the way of things?’ ”
“I thought, what am I doing? I need to be successful for her. My whole journey was supposed to be about inspiring people.”
Paige has come a long way since then. While her in-ring career was over due to an unfortunate injury, she had a successful run as the Smackdown Live General Manager and is now looking forward to the movie about her.
