Seth Rollins Talks Transition From FCW to NXT
Recently on the E & C Pod of Awesomeness, WWE Superstar Seth Rollins was a recent guest of their show. On that episode of the podcast one of the topics of discussion was the transition of Flordia Championship Wrestling to NXT.
Seth said the following about the transition:
“That was a crazy time, the transition felt very sudden. Before when we got to developmental, it was literally the end all be all, I got to WWE I made it. I got there and it was a really sweaty warehouse with two practice rings and one showroom. We were basically running these little towns in Florida and there was nobody at the shows.”
Seth continued on by saying the following:
“There was rarely any contact from the office, you were a rat on a wheel. If they needed somebody they’d just pluck them out with no indication of your time coming. From a talent perspective we were stoked to see it rebranded and seeing Triple H more regularly and more involved.”
Seth never got to train a day at the Performance Center, he was always at the Tampa building.
Rollins went on to comment on the change of Television Perspective:
“It went from local Sunday Shows to being at Full Sail filming TV similar to RAW or Smackdown and it finally gave the superstars the WWE feel.”
