At the Elimination Chamber PPV we saw a brief appearance from recent main roster call-up Lacey Evans, when she walked out and waved then turned around and headed to the back. This appears to be a spot we can expect to see from Evans in the upcoming weeks, as she once again came out for a brief appearance on to wave and return to the back.
On a recent audio update via PWInsider Elite, Mike Johnson mentions that WWE’s plan is to slowly make fans begin to boo Lacey Evans. Her brief appearances to which she never even enters the ring, only waves and returns to the back is WWE’s plan for getting heat on Lacey with the WWE Universe.
Regarding WWE’s plan for Lacey Evans, Johnson said:
“Lacey Evans came out, walked the aisle and walked away. I was told that this is just part of a slow roll-out to show the audience and gonna get them a little pissy at her.”
