WWE Superstar Lio Rush took the pin in the Intercontinental Championship Handicap Match at the Elimination Chamber PPV last Sunday, costing Bobby Lashley the title. The following night on RAW Lio Rush’s string of bad luck continued as he once again took the pinfall, this time in a tag team match with Bobby Lashley.
WWE seemingly ended the partnership between the two it would appear, following beat downs to Rush from Lashley after their losses on back to back nights. PWInsider reported that there is a “fair amount” of heat on Lio Rush currently backstage, which I also confirmed with my source in WWE.
Lio Rush took to twitter earlier today and commented on the recent reports. Rush said:
