Earlier today WWE announced that they had come to terms with TJP on his release from the company. TJP was just one of the releases that WWE announced, which interestingly enough came just days after he had stated in an interview that he wanted to work with WWE forever.
After news of his release broke, I reached out to one of my sources within WWE and asked about TJP’s release from the company. I was told that TJP had been lobbying with company officials for more air time on WWE TV, even as recent as last week.
In addition, it was said that TJP has historically been difficult to work with, not just amongst talent but even with those higher up in positions of power within WWE. It was also mentioned how there had recently been heat on him for not informing anyone of his new tattoos, as this probably had a lot to do with marketing ala action figures and video game rendering.
It was also told to me that TJP was “blindsided” by his release.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything more concerning details surrounding the release of TJP from WWE.
