Matt Hardy has had to go on hiatus from in-ring action this past year. His hips have begun to fail him and he is near retirement, if he isn’t already retired. There have been rumors of a Matt Hardy GM role, before the McMahon’s took over control on television. We’ve had Halloween a special that took place at House Hardy, which made it seem like Matt was going to stay with WWE.
As it turns out, that might not be the case. Matt recently tweeted out that he likes being outside of WWE better.
When a fan mentioned that Matt would probably delete the tweet eventually. Matt responded by saying that he will be gone from WWE at the end of the month.
It’s unclear what Matt will do once he departs from WWE, but as he said, he is a survivalist and will end up just fine.
