When Cody Rhodes left WWE, he had a lot to discover on his own. Some people helped him along the way. This is what he wants to do for Tye Dillinger now.
As Cody Rhodes spoke to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, he said that he loves Tye Dillinger. Rhodes said that he signed WWE as he was Dusty Rhodes’ son, and Tye Dillinger didn’t judge him for that. Rather, he helped Cody and the two became a tag team in OVW. Then Cody promised to help out as much as he could.
Cody said it is more important for Dillinger to go out on the indies and “do his thing and fill his soul up,” and that talks about joining AEW can come at a later time.
With Tye finally released from WWE, we just might be seeing him sign with AEW soon enough.
We will have to wait and see what happens.
