Madison Rayne signs new multi-year deal with IMPACT Wrestling
Who says you can’t go home again? Madison Rayne has signed a new multi-year with IMPACT Wrestling, just one day after being granted her release from Ring of Honor.
Madison Rayne, who had signed a one year deal with Ring of Honor after participating in the second WWE Mae Young Classic, was reportedly frustrated with the creative direction of her character. According to PW Insider, Rayne had pitched the idea of a “Beautiful People Reunion” alongside original members, Angelina Love & Velvet Sky.
ROH offered to bring the group in, but their idea was to have them turn on Madison and possibly add Mandy Leon, to form a newer version the Beautiful People . Rayne turned down that idea and then asked for her release.
“The Queen Bee” returns to the company where she’s experienced her most success in and is set to compete in a very deep and competitive Knockouts Divison. Rayne is also married to IMPACT Wrestling’s lead play by play announcer, Josh Matthews.
Earlier this week, Impact Wrestling announced that they’ve re-signed Fallah Bahh and Rosemary, with more talent signings expected next week.
