Sasha Banks and Bayley defended their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Nia Jax and Tamina. They were certainly formidable opponents, but The Boss n Hug Connection successfully retained their titles.
Then Nia and Tamina beat down on the champions. Aftwards, Tamina had a confrontation with guest commentator Beth Phoenix. Then Beth hit her with a stiff forearm, before Nia Jax attacked Beth as well.
Natalya rushed to the ring but she became another victim to the onslaught. Despite losing the match, Jax and Tamina sent a message to the rest of the women’s division.
Phoenix and Nattie were a team as The Divas Of Doom year ago. Perhaps this was a possible tease to their return. We will have to wait and see what happens.
