Wrestling Promotion Called Out For Repeatedly Not Paying Performers
The independent wrestling scene seems to be thriving all over the country. Many wrestlers are able to get booked multiple times a week and fans are coming to show their support in droves.
While that’s the case for some promotions, that’s not the case for all of them. Some have promoters promising more than they can offer. Naturally, certain problems can arise and mistakes are made. Those can be forgiven. What can not be forgiven is when a promotion does this time and time again.
Last weekend Nova Pro Wrestling, a promotion based in Virginia, held a show and did not pay the promised amount to the talent.
Some talent either haven’t heard about Nova Pro or are willing to take the risk of not being paid.
Paige’s mom has stated she will wrestle for the company.
And Joey Ryan and Faye Jackson have just been announced for a Nova Pro show at the end of the month.
This is just a reminder to look up the company you will either work for, or give your money to support.
It’s a horrible thing to happen to wrestlers who put their life on the line at every show they wrestle on.
