If you haven’t checked out the Wrasslerap Podcast with Emilio Sparks, then you might miss out on some great information. Former WWE Creative member Kazeem Famuyide recently sat down with Emilio to discuss his time with the company.
One interesting tidbit that came out of the interview was how a certain NXT superstar increased ticket sales after signing with the company.
The Halftime Heat Crew (Adam Cole, Aleister Black, Johnny Gargano, Velveteen Dream, Tommaso Ciampa and Ricochet) was more important to NXT than they are to Raw. Because they are a traveling brand and sell tickets.
Ricochet is the first person in the history of NXT who, when he signed to the brand, there was a literal uptick in ticket sales to NXT. Out of everybody that has been there, Finn, KO, Joe, Nakamura, everybody, Ricochet is the first person who is actually putting butts in seats.

That is an incredible achievement after seeing the litany of talent that has toured with NXT. That goes to show that WWE is probably very high on Ricochet and that he will probably headline the main roster in the near future.
