Ronda Rousey brought up how fans cheered when she was getting beat down on at Survivor Series, which upset her. Now she is set to take a hiatus from WWE and it is unknown how long she will be gone.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that it’s not clear when she will be back if she ever does. The fans turning on her made her change her mind about wrestling in WWE, since she was having fun before fans booed her.
“It may be a lot longer than [SummerSlam]. She might never come back. I expect that she will just because — I tell you what… If the fans hadn’t turned on her, 100% she would [come back] now, you know, I wouldn’t be so sure.”
“I think that she still will, but it’s a different thing. You remember the whole thing like, ‘Oh man these wrestling fans are so much better than MMA fans,’ you know blah, blah, blah, blah, blah and now I’m sure she’s not saying that.”
We will have to wait and see how long Rousey will be gone from WWE and how the RAW Women’s Title picture will be afterwards.
