Ronda Rousey will be taking a leave from WWE following Wrestlemania. It is unknown just how long of a break she will be taking.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Ronda would have been more open to an earlier return if fans had not turned on her. He was asked if a SummerSlam return was possible or even Survivor Series, to which he didn’t have a hopeful reply.
“Ronda’s not on the European tour so I think that pretty much tells ya the deal. I mean I’m not saying that she won’t do another match after Mania, but she’s not booked on anything after the RAW after Mania.”
“It may be a lot longer than [SummerSlam] she may never come back. You know? I mean she probably will. I expect that she will.”
If Ronda starts a family, we might not be seeing her for up to a year at least. We will have to wait and see what she does.
