WWE Superstar Becky Lynch made her TV debut back in June of 2014, and yesterday The Man shared a picture yesterday from her first match in NXT. Along with the photo, Becky Lynch revealed that a couple of weeks prior to her first televised match that WWE was planning on releasing her from the company.
Upon her debut Lynch’s character was a lot different than we see now. When we first saw Becky on NXT TV she came out to a stereotypical irish persona, which would have her “river dance around” in all green ring gear.
Regarding almost being released from WWE prior to her debut, Becky Lynch said:
“A couple of weeks before this they were going to let me go. I’ve been fighting to survive this place since before day one. I’ll never be above what I had to do to stay alive. #happypaddysday”
