With Wrestlemania closing we, we still have no match for the Intercontinental Title. From the looks of it, it might be a last-minute plan since RAW didn’t really do much.
Dave Meltzer discussed the current Intercontinental Title picture during Wrestling Observer Radio. It seems WWE will be planning for a rather simple affair this time around.
“What we don’t know is the status of the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania it could be Lashley and Finn Balor, but you would think that usually at WrestleMania you want to do matches that haven’t been done before and that match has been done a lot.”
“At first I was like, oh they’re to put Braun Strowman in this but then they made it clear that Strowman’s going in the battle royal he was the first guy to announce that.”
We will have to wait and see how WWE books this match for Wrestlemania.
