Kurt Angle made many fans angry when he chose Baron Corbin as his opponent at Wrestlemania. However, it seems that his brother Eric Angle has also been upsetting people in a different way.
Fans might remember Eric Angle who looked a lot like his brother with his head shaven. He has been coaching amateur wrestling recently, but that might change following this recent incident.
WTAE reports that Eric Angle was charged with assault after an incident at a Junior Wrestling Tournament. This was a disturbing scene according to witnesses and now he is facing simple assault charges.
Angle lifted a juvenile wrestler by his neck after he lost a match. Then he dropped the young wrestler all the way to the mat. Here is the video footage of the incident.
Charges have been filed against Angle after the incident by the University Of Pittsburgh police. Angle has since then released an apology statement regarding what he did.
“I should have just walked away and let him get thrown out. Instead, I’m the one who embarrassed myself even more.”
