On this week’s RAW, Kurt Angle finally revealed who his Wrestlemania opponent will be for his final match. He announced that it would be Baron Corbin and this not received well by fans, coworkers, and other members of the WWE Universe. Even the announcement video on YouTube got a lot of dislikes.
Kurt Angle vs Baron Corbin at Wrestlemania was what WWE originally intended and it was not a swerve or intended to get so much heat.
On Wrestling Observer Live Bryan Alvarez talked about the situation, where he said that because of all the fan backlash, WWE could possibly end up changing Kurt’s opponent for Wrestlemania. However, there is also a big chance that the match will go on as planned.
“My gut tells me they’re probably going to change it. They may put John Cena in there — which is the match it should be. But as of yesterday, this was their idea. Kurt Angle vs Baron Corbin.”
While Baron Corbin does his job as a heel good enough, people simply do not want to see him wrestling Kurt Angle in his last match. We will have to wait and see what happens.
