Jim Ross Gives Huge Update on AEW Contract
Last week Jim Ross finished up his final WWE contract and was not even considered an extension or for WWE to resign him.
This move surprised many fans due to the fact his voice was involved in many historic matches.
During a recent episode of , Inside the Ropes, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed that AEW and himself are in the final stages of contract negotiations.
JR will more than likely be a part of AEW’s Double or Nothing, along with being apart of their television program, once that happens.
“We’re trying to get all the I’s dotted and T’s crossed. Hopefully, my tenure will eventually lead me to AEW, who we’ve been negotiating with for quite some time. That’s my goal. Start to work there and be part of their presentation in May and in Vegas for Double or Nothing.”
With Ross getting a contract with the new promotion, which was expected, next to fall into place is the television deal and then AEW will be all set essentially to launch.
