Kurt Angle Reveals That John Cena Will Indeed Have A WrestleMania 35 Match
WWE Superstar Kurt Angle wraps up his in-ring career this Sunday at WrestleMania 35 when he faces Baron Corbin in his retirement match.
Kurt Angle recently spoke to The Gorilla Position, where he was asked about his final wrestling match this Sunday at WrestleMania. During the discussion Kurt reveals that he would have preferred to face John Cena in his last match, but that things didn’t work out. Kurt then goes on to reveal that John Cena will indeed have a match on Sunday at WrestleMania 35.
“I was hoping it was gonna be John, but it didn’t happen. I’m sure that he has another match in mind, but I wanted him to end my career just like when he started I started his career. So it was a good little storyline, but unfortunately, it’s not gonna work out.”
“I love John and I know that he will have a WrestleMania match. I’m not sure if they’ve announced it yet, but I’m almost positive he’s gonna be there.”
Kurt not only confirmed that he actually wanted John Cena to be his opponent for his final wrestling match, but he also appeared to be somewhat disappointed that he is instead wrestling against Baron Corbin.
