Big Name Rumored For Main Roster Move During Next Week’s WWE Superstar Shake-Up
WWE has announced that next week the company will hold their Superstar Shake-Up. The two day event will once again see WWE Superstars change brands, which has historically also included some Main Roster call-ups in the past and one would assume this year is no different.
With WWE making the announcement of the Superstar Shake-Up taking place next week, many names have already been rumored to be part of the mix. One of the names we have been hearing as rumored to be receiving a main roster call-up as part of next week’s shake-up is the former WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne.
On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio next week’s Superstar Shake-Up was discussed, and Dave Meltzer also mentioned that he too has heard the rumor that Pete Dunne is scheduled to make his main roster debut next week during the shake-up. Regarding Pete Dunne’s potential main roster call up next week, Meltzer said:
“I’ve heard the rumor, but I don’t know for sure.”
Dunne’s 685 day reign as WWE United Kingdom Champion came to an end this past Saturday Night at NXT TakeOver: New York when he lost his title to NXT UK Superstar WALTER.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything more concerning next week’s WWE Superstar Shake-Up or potential plans for former WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne.
