Viceland has a docuseries called The Dark Side of the Ring. The series focuses on certain aspects of pro wrestling with a new lens.
The third episode is about Bruiser Brody and his murder in Puerto Rico. Viceland has actors reenact some of the stories that are shared during the documentary.
In what might be a dream moment, NWA wrestler Jocephus was cast as Brody. If you’ve ever watched NWA the past few years, you know of Jocephus and how, before losing his hair to David Arquette, Jocephus’ gear and look is a mirror image of Bruiser Brody.
The entire series is fantastic. If you have time, be sure to check out the episodes and support this docuseries. There has already been talk of a season two, so the more people that watch the show, will definitely help get a second season green lit.
