A Current Champion In WWE Expected To Be Revealed As The Final Move Of This Year’s Superstar Shake-Up
WWE’s Superstar Shake-Up was a very interesting two days for the company, as we saw many of the top Superstars move from one brand to the other. However, it looks as though there is one more WWE Superstar who will be announced as one of the moves of this year’s Superstar Shake-Up.
WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe was in Montreal on Monday and backstage for this week’s episode of RAW and was planned to be used and revealed as one of the RAW’s newest Superstars as part of the Superstar Shake-Up. Unfortunately for Joe this wasn’t the case, as reports came out that he was incredibly sick with a case of the flu.
On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed Samoa Joe, and confirmed that the US Champ will indeed be moved to RAW. Regarding Samoa Joe being sent to RAW during the Superstar Shake-Up, Meltzer said:
“Samoa Joe is going to be on RAW. That hasn’t been announced. He was gonna be announced on the show, but since he was sent to the doctor or whatever — taken off the show. They were going to announce that last night”
Samoa Joe’s move was expected especially after seeing WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor drafted to SmackDown. Hopefully Joe is able to shake the flu in time for next week’s episode of RAW.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about Samoa Joe and his anticipated move to the RAW roster after being delayed this week due to sickness.
