Brian “Road Dogg” James Taking “An Extended Break” From WWE
WWE Hall of Famer Brian “Road Dogg” James was formerly the co-head writer of SmackDown Live until recently stepping down from the position.
It had then been reported that James was not leaving the company after resigning from his role as co-head writer of SmackDown, but was instead going to be used as a “utility player” within the company.
In an update, PWInsider is now reporting that James will be taking “an extended break from the company.” It was also stated that James will be using his time off to “access the situation and see where he may fit” with the company going forward.
Again, this doesn’t me that Road Dogg is leaving the company, as was previously stated he is remaining with WWE, just won’t be around backstage for awhile it sound.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything else regarding Brian “Road Dogg” James’ status with WWE.
