When you hear that wrestling is dangerous, you rarely think of the dangers the referees are in as well.
Last night in Omaha, Nebraska, at an NXT Live event. Referee Tim Castor broke his leg after falling weird from a super kick.
The referee not only finished the match. He counted the pin for the finish with a Sid Vicious style broken leg. 🚨 Warning May Be Graphic To Some 🚨
It appears the incident happened during a surprise Velveteen Dream vs. Tyler Breeze match.
We hope for a speedy recovery for referee Castor.
Word is Raul Mendoza was also injured but not much has been reported about the circumstances surrounding the injury.
