Brian Cage faced off against Johnny Impact for the IMPACT World Championship. It was a hard-hitting contest, with both competitors giving it their all in order to pick up the win. In the end, Brian Cage was triumphant and became the new IMPACT World Champion. However, it seems he suffered an injury in the process.
PW Insider reports that Brian Cage needed to be rushed to the emergency room following his match against Johnny Impact in Toronto. It is reported that this is legitimate and not a work.
F4WOnline reports that Cage was having trouble walking backstage and he apparently has a back issue.
Apparently, Brian Cage was hurt within three minutes into the match. Cage aggravated an existing back injury after Impact hit a Spanish fly off the ramp on him. However, he managed to finish the match despite being hurt, which included getting beat down by Michael Elgin following the match.
