EXCLUSIVE: Major Update on The Revival’s New WWE Offer & Reason They Haven’t Signed Yet
It was reported earlier today via Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful that WWE Superstars Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson – The Revival, were offered new contracts worth $500k for 5 years. It was also stated The Revival have yet to sign the new deal that was offered to them.
I have an exclusive update on the report and can confirm that The Revival were indeed offered a new 5 year contract from WWE. However, we can confirm that the initial report was not correct regarding the amount of money that the two were offered.
While speaking to a source close to the situation I can now confirm that the deal WWE offered to The Revival was actually $550k per year individually for 5 years.
It was also told to me that Dash and Dawson have no intention of signing anything, and that the two are in a “wait and see” mode over the next year. I can also confirm that The Revivals current WWE deal is set to expire in April 2020 following WrestleMania 36.
Basically the former RAW Tag Team Champs have left a lot of money on the table and are not signing the deal that was offered and plan to wait things out over the remaining year of their current contract and see how things change before making their decision about whether or not to re-sign with the company.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything else regarding the status of The Revival.
