It was previously reported that WWE Superstar Lio Rush has some serious heat on him backstage currently within the company.
Over the weekend Fightful reported that there was backstage heat on Rush for a number of reasons, some of which included rubbing the rest of the locker room the wrong way, to his handling of advice given to him by Finn Balor about bringing his wife to walk-throughs. It was stated that Rush would be “very lucky” if he was used on the main roster again.
As we saw on last night’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, Lio Rush was not used on the broadcast, and his former associate Bobby Lashley seems to have moved on without Rush as his hype man.
According to a report from PWInsider, Lio Rush was backstage last night at RAW in Lexington, but of course was not used as we saw. Their report also noted that there has been talks internally within WWE about moving Lio Rush back to NXT.
In addition, more details were given regarding past issues that have come up involving Lio Rush backstage in WWE. One of the situations that was addressed occurred last November during WWE’s European tour where Rush was said to have “blew off” standard etiquette backstage for newer members of the roster. It was stated that the etiquette backstage included providing waters for other talents after matches and bringing water coolers to the hotel so that other members of the WWE roster can converse and socialize together in a common area.
Yesterday it was noted by many that Lio Rush had made changes to his social media accounts removing all mention of WWE from his profiles.
