Chris Jericho NJPW return date set, Opponent Revealed
Chris Jericho continues to make headlines in the wrestling world. Only just a few hours after being involved in a brawl with his AEW Double or Nothing opponent Kenny Omega at a indie wrestling event for Southern Honor Wrestling in Georgia, the Fozzy lead singer would also make his presence felt on the other side of the world. Shortly, after Kazuchika Okada successfully defended his IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Sanada at the Wrestling Dontaku 2019 Night Two event it was revealed through video package that Chris Jericho would be the next challenger to his crown at Dominion in Osaka, Japan on June 9th. The match is being billed as The Painmaker vs The Rainmaker
Chris Jericho never closed the door on working with New Japan Pro Wrestling after signing with All Elite Wrestling and now it’s official that two weeks after making his AEW debut against Kenny Omega, Jericho will be headlining NJPW’s second biggest show of the year with Okada.
