Rusev has battled many high profile superstars in his career so far and that includes the likes of The Undertaker. He faced off against The Dead Man in a casket match at the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Jeddah Saudi Arabia last year. While the match was changed a few times, Rusev managed to compete against Undertaker in the end.
While speaking to Express.uk, Rusev revealed what The Undertaker told him after the two talked together, following their match at Greatest Royal Rumble. Here is what he said:
“And ‘Taker is such a special character and he’s been here for like 30 years or whatnot. He’s a legend, he’s an icon, so getting to work with him and talk to him afterwards and pick his brains, it was a great opportunity for me. He told me that I’m really good. I’m not even messing around, he told me I’m really good.”
When a living legend like The Undertaker says you are good, it certainly means something. After all, it isn’t every day that one gets praise like that from the Dead Man.
