PAC vs. Hangman Page Pulled From Double Or Nothing
Dave Meltzer reported earlier that PAC vs. Hangman Page will not be taking place any longer on All Elite Wrestling’s debut wrestling show Double or Nothing.
The reason being cited is creative differences. PAC is the Dragon Gate world champion and has not lost a match clean since his loss to Enzo Amore on 205 Live.
Many people are questioning why creative differences would be a problem one week before Double or Nothing. AEW has stated that wins and losses matter and that they aren’t going to do finishes that do not take place in the ring.
PAC has been Dragon Gate champion since April of 2018, meaning AEW knew PAC’s stance on losing as champion of the Dragon Gate promotion.
PAC was wrestling in the U.K. this weekend and Hangman Page showed up to have the Double or Nothing match a week early.
You may remember around WrestleMania weekend we reported that PAC had still not gotten a visa to work in the United States of America. This may still be the underlying issue as PAC has not committed full time to AEW like CIMA and the OWE wrestlers.
