Double or Nothing is happening on May 25th. It is All Elite Wrestling’s inaugural show and will be available for purchase through cable providers.
That being said, typically cable companies will have a background image about the pay per view event you are purchasing. Usually it’s an image from the event or a scene from a movie. Comcast cable company issues Xfinity as their trade name.
A Twitter user pointed out that the Xfinity image background for the Double or Nothing purchase is a created ring from WWE’s 2k series.
If you look at the banner wrapping around the arena, you can see the WWE symbol and the 2k symbol. It is unknown where Xfinity got this image or why it was used.
Either way, it is quite an odd occurrence that a company would use their rival companies video game to create an image of an arena.
