MLW Star Teddy Hart To Open Training Facility To Be Named Project: Dungeon
In the mid 2000’s WWE had a problem creating stars of the future. To solve that dilemma they created the Performance Center and a development brand known as NXT. Now the future is as bright as ever when it comes to talent.
Before NXT, WWE tended to use other companies as a feeder system to replenish their roster, before that they used territories. One of the main territories that WWE procured talent From was Stampede Wrestling. A territory ran by the Hart family, with training done in the Hart House basement. Deemed “The Dungeon” a plethora of stories have been told about the cries and screams the Hart boys would hear emitting from the basement.
Years later it appears MLW has the same idea. Teddy Hart is a signed talent to Major League Wrestling and has begun work on a training facility known as Project: Dungeon.
No word yet on when the Dungeon will open or who the recruits will be. Either way it’s an exciting time for aspiring wrestlers to be able to have a link to the past while representing the future.
