How The McMahon Family Presumably Feels About WWE Employees Tweeting About AEW’s Double Or Nothing
The talk of the entire wrestling world is focused on AEW and Double Or Nothing after last night, and the huge debut and announcement of Jon Moxley to a multi-year deal.
Many WWE Superstars were reacting and commenting on the event and show throughout the night last night, and on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about it. He went on to mention that members of the McMahon family cannot be happy about the fact their employees publicly recognized and put over a “rival” product.
“The only thing I can say is that everyone in the McMahon family has to be ungodly furious at all those people who were tweeting because it wasn’t just like Sasha Banks because when she did it it was like, ‘Okay I get this.’ You know or Karl Anderson… Peyton Royce has got to… you know. I wasn’t so overt with Peyton Royce, but it can’t be looked upon well… Matt Hardy um… to a degree [he can get away with it] but, they can’t be happy with their own talent tweeting about the rival show and putting it over.”
It has often times been said that competition can bring out the best product, but who is to say if that is how those incharge within WWE feel about the situation.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about internal reactions from WWE regarding last night’s AEW Double or Nothing event.
