AEW Bans Fan For Being Transphobic At Double Or Nothing
AEW, since it’s inception, has stated that they are for everyone. An all inclusive company that doesn’t segregate. The signings of Nyla Rose and Sonny Kiss were seen as a breath of fresh air for major wrestling companies. They want everyone to feel welcomed at their shows.
Earlier this week a tweet was sent out by a fan who was making fun of another fan during Double or Nothing. The guy was saying that a “nerd” had told him to leave the arena for being transphobic. Sarcastically saying that he thought AEW was for everyone.
We will not share the tweet here as to not give him any publicity. But, Matt Jackson got word of this tweet and made sure to make things right.
Saying something is one thing. But, taking the steps to act against hate is another. It’s very commendable of AEW to stand up for all their fans that just want to have a good time. Hate will not be tolerated at AEW shows, which is comforting for everyone to know.
Some good news to come out of the story is that the person who sold the tickets to this “fan” is now donating the money to a good cause.
