Chris Jericho Says He Will Wrestle Hangman Page At ALL OUT
While there has yet to be an official announcement from AEW, it looks like the AEW World Championship will be decided in Chicago at ALL OUT.
According to Chris Jericho, who revealed on Sirius XM Radio’s Busted Open, that he will wrestle Adam “Hangman” Page on August 31st in Chicago at ALL OUT, in what we assume will be to decide the company’s first ever champion.
Hangman Page was victorious in the Casino Battle Royale which took place prior to Double Or Nothing as part of the “Buy In” pre-show, which secured his opportunity to wrestle for the AEW World Title against the winner of the Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho match later in the evening. Jericho ended up winning the match, like he said he would, and earned the right to compete for the right to become the first champion in AEW history.
Jericho talked about his upcoming match against Hangman Page on Busted Open, and based on his comments, all signs point to a showdown at ALL OUT. Tickets for the event go on sale June 14th, and will be returning at the Sears Centre, where this all began one year prior.
In addition to discussing his match with Hangman Page, he also talked about his recent interview with Jon Moxley, which has been one of the hottest talked about interviews in years.
