WWE’s tag team division is in dire need of more accomplished tag teams. Thankfully, it seems that AOP will finally make their in-ring return.
Akam has been on the shelf since January following a knee injury. He was recently medically cleared to make his in-ring return.
PW Insider reports that AOP is scheduled for SmackDown Live events in June. This means that they will be coming back to WWE television soon enough and that they will be on Smackdown Live.
Akam and Rezar are scheduled for Smackdown Live events in June, the first live events the team have worked since early 2019 when Akam suffered a knee injured and required surgery.
Currently, the team is waiting for WWE to have something planned for them. Hopefully, WWE figures out what to do with AOP soon enough.
