Former WWE Superstar Hideo Itami Debuts With NJPW at Dominion
Former WWE Superstar Hideo Itami made a surprise appearance tonight at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Dominion PPV from Osaka, Japan.
Once again going by his former ring name Kenta, he appeared after Shibata made his return. Kenta was wearing a shirt which read “Takeover” on it, which many felt was an obvious jab at his former employer.
The two made their way down to the ring, where Kenta got on the mic and announced his intentions to enter the G1 Climax tournament.
Kenta was released from his WWE contract back in February after requesting his release earlier in the year.
Kenta joins, Shingo Takagi and Jon Moxley who have now all declared their intentions to enter the upcoming G1 Climax which kicks off next month in Dallas, Texas.
