Celebrity Boxing has been a thing for the last two decades. Usually celebrities, and I’m using that term loosely, will box other celebrities for a sum of money that is donated to charity. The full list of celebrity fights has a nice Wikipedia page. Boxing is about as far as celebrities will go in combat sports.
Justin Bieber is a known boxing fan, in fact he accompanied Floyd Mayweather to the ring along side HHH In Floyd’s boxing match against MMA legend Conor McGreggor.
Just as Conor crossed over from MMA fame to boxing, Bieber is attempting to take his celebrity over to MMA.
In a tweet sent out this weekend. The pop star has called out movie star Tom Cruise for an MMA fight and tagged UFC president Dana White.
Dana White, UFC and Tom Cruise has yet to respond, but I’m sure there are many MMA organizations outside of UFC that are frothing at the bit to get what could be the highest profile MMA fight of all time in their company.
