WWE’s developmental brand NXT is further expanding its reach and is trying to become a global brand, at least that is what Triple H wants to do.
Reports stated that WWE was rumored to be considering holding the NXT TakeOver: XXV event in Saudi Arabia this year. Of course, this did not happen in the end.
Triple H recently spoke to Ring_Rules, where he was asked about the possibility of a TakeOver event taking place in Saudi Arabia in the future.
He said that WWE’s goal is to be able to find talent in Saudi Arabia, recruit talent, train talent, and to build something on the ground there. However, he isn’t sure whether that means they will have a TakeOver event in Saudi Arabia. Nothing was determined and it depended on how quickly the company can find talent and train them.
Perhaps we might be seeing an NXT TakeOver event in Saudi Arabia somewhere down the line. We will know in due time.
