It seems that Akira Tozawa vs. Drew Gulak vs. WWE Cruiserweight Champion Tony Nese will be taking place at WWE Stomping Grounds on June 23rd.
On this week’s episode of 205 Live, a Fatal 4 Way match was booked by Drake Maverick in order to determine a proper challenger for Tony Nese.
The match saw Tozawa, Gulak, Humberto Carrillo and Oney Lorcan compete in an intense match in order to determine a winner. Towards the end of the match, Gulak and Tozawa both went for a pin and this resulted in a double pin.
The show concluded with Drake discussing the result with two referees and he deemed both the competitors as the winners. So this would imply Triple Threat at Stomping Grounds. We will keep you updated regarding the WWE Cruiserweight Title picture when we get to know more.
