Jon Moxley Answers Open Challenge From Big Cass And Enzo At Six Flags
Jon Moxley is making headlines everywhere he goes. From signing with AEW, to becoming NJPW’s U.S. champion and entering into the G1 Climax tournament. It seems like most of Moxley’s open dates are being filled before he leaves the independent scene when AEW starts their weekly show in October.
This weekend at a Northeast Wrestling event dubbed Six Flags Slam Fest, Moxley made a surprise appearance answering Cass XL and nZo’s open challenge.
Cass and Zo haven’t been talked about much since their appearance at the ROH show at Madison Square Garden. They were supposed to be involved with Ring of Honor but the backlash from ROH’s fan base made the company change their plans. Cass and nZo have been wrestling sporadically at indie shows across the country, as heels because most wrestling fans seem to have a strong dislike for both men.
Much to the delight of the live crowd, Moxley was able to beat Cass XL with his Dirty Deeds finishing maneuver. NZo was also caught with the move during the match as well.
After Cass’ loss he cut a promo about Mox coming out to answer the challenge.
As the future of Jon Moxley is certain, the same can’t be said for nZo and Cass. Most companies that could sign them to exclusive contracts seems to be apprehensive due to their fan bases displeasure with the duo. This is most likely a one off match.
