AEW Reportedly Unhappy With Early Release Of Botched Match Graphic
AEW’s next event is Fyter Fest on June 29th from the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Earlier this week a tag team match was announced for the Fyter Fest Buy In pre-show featuring an interesting stipulation. SCU – Kazarian & Scorpio Sky will face the teams of The Best Friends and Private Party in a triple threat match, where the winner will move on to ALL OUT and compete in another match for the opportunity to win a first round bye in the upcoming Tag Team Title Tournament.
However when the initial graphic was released on twitter for the match at Fyter Fest, there was a noticeable botch in the match description that made the stipulation for the match very confusing. You can see the original image posted below.
According to a report via Fightful Select, the original match graphic was actually released by FITE TV’s twitter account early, and that those they spoke with within AEW were not pleased with the graphic going out early and the botched wording describing the match stipulation.
“Those we spoke to within AEW this afternoon weren’t particularly thrilled about the graphic being out, but didn’t specify if that was in relation to the rules or the graphic grammar.”
You can see the edited and final match graphic that was released shortly after the original was pulled, below.
