Allie Kat Announces She Will Be Stepping Away From Wrestling
Allie Kat has been wrestling for close to eight years now. It seems like 2018-2019 were breakout years for the stray cat, but 2020 might not feature her at all.
Allie Kat’s character was that she was an actual cat. Similar to the recently retired Kris Wolf being raised by wolves, Allie would do many cat mannerisms in her match. She would be easily distracted by balls and yarn, loved to drink milk and always took sometime out of her match for personal grooming. She also had her account banned from Twitter for “impersonating a cat”, which made her get an entirely new Twitter handle.
She was getting her feline face seen in more places than ever this year. As much as her career was on the rise, she was also suffering her first defeat at Black Label Pro by the hands of Impact Wrestling’s Jordynne Grace. The reason most of this is written in past tense is because Allie recently pinned a tweet to her Twitter profile.
The reason for her departure isn’t known, but a few weeks ago she did send out this tweet.
Life as an independent wrestler can be taxing on the mind, body and wallet. When Jim Ross was head of WWE talent relations, he always told recruits to get their degree first and have something to fall back on if wrestling didn’t work out.
We here at Bodyslam wish Allie Kat the best in whatever she is doing with her future. Below are some gifs and matches featuring the feline.
