Wrestling World Reacts To Death Of Lionheart

Yesterday the unfortunate news came out that European indie legend Lionheart passed away suddenly at the age of 36. He was the current ICW World Heavyweight Champion at the time of his passing.

Many wrestlers, mainly European wrestlers, shared what Lionheart meant to them on Twitter, here is a small sample of the outpouring of love for Lionheart.

I always looked up to Lionheart’s professional approach to wrestling when it was far from that at the time. People like him were pivotal in the growth of a scene that has lead to so many people being able to do this for a living.

The tributes pouring in are almost endless. The wrestling world lost someone special yesterday. Our condolences go out to everyone who is grieving at this time. As you can see, Lionheart affected almost anyone he crossed paths with. Truly a special human being.
