WWE Gives Another NXT Superstar A New Ring Name
One thing fans should be accustomed to by now is WWE changing the ring name of their Superstars, especially in NXT. The latest WWE NXT Superstar to undergo a name change is Brennan Williams, who will now be known as Dio Maddin.
You can see Maddin’s tweet showing his new NXT ring name below.

Maddin participated in a WWE tryout back in the spring of 2016, and was officially signed to NXT in August of the same year. Prior to joining WWE he spent time as a professional football player in the NFL, where he had been signed to the Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, and New England Patriots before having to leave football due to injury.
With WWE changing his ring name and giving him a new character in NXT it looks as though the company might be putting more focus into him after spending the first three years of his career developing his skills.
