WWE Stomping Grounds is taking place in Tacoma, Washington tonight. As per usual, the Washington crowd is very loud and on camera, seems like the crowd has filled the arena.
There were rumors swirling that ticket sales were extremely low. Ticketmaster was offering 2-for-1 tickets a week before the show and people still weren’t buying them.
Fans in attendance have begun sending out video and photos of what the arena looks like. It appears WWE is being very strategic in their camera angles tonight, because the almost half the arena is blocked off.
Hopefully, for WWE’s sake, this isn’t the beginning of a trend. Many within WWE have come up with excuses like “Super Showdown just happened” and “Fans are saving their money for Summerslam”. Even guy in green smiley face shirt isn’t there, which really says a lot because that guy is at every pay per view event.
