Braun Strowman is More than Likely Working Hurt
Braun Strowman has been in a feud with Bobby Lashley for the past few weeks that has led to another match on this upcoming RAW that will be Falls Count Anywhere.
Strowman has been hurt before in WWE that have put him on the shelf but this time around it appears that he might not need surgery for this injury, as of now.
It appears now that he is working hurt though and even though WWE stars are used to working with bumps and bruises, this injury for Strowman could have started to affect his performance.
Dave Meltzer discussed Braun Strowman’s decline in work rate on an episode of Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer stated that he has noticed a dip in Strowman’s speed which isn’t hard to notice. He at one point was much faster when chasing down opponents compared to recent.
Meltzer also stated the following about Braun:
“I’m bored with Braun’s promos and I think he’s really gone down a lot and he’s hurt too which doesn’t help. You know, I mean he’s lost his speed and that was one of the cool things about him and they don’t even realize they make him work the same match when he could run and when he doesn’t run it just takes you out of it.”
“Because you’re like ‘This guy can’t run,’ I don’t know what it is, his knees — I don’t know what it is, but he’s obviously hurt.”
Hopefully this isn’t something to impact Braun’s life after his WWE career especially if it is a problem with his knees. Overall being a wrestler isn’t an easy task and puts a lot of wear and tear on your body.
