Does AEW Have Plans To Introduce Six-Man Titles?
AEW held their second event last night “Fyter Fest” from the Ocean Center in Daytona, Florida.
Following the event members of the AEW roster participated in a media scrum, where they fielded questions from journalists in attendance. The Young Bucks were among those who stopped by for a post show interview after the conclusion of Fyter Fest. During their session they were asked if there are any plans to introduce six-man or trios championships in the company, as they already have announced their plans for a World Title, Women’s Title, men’s and women’s Tag Titles.
The Young Bucks responded by saying that there probably will not be any six-man or trios titles in AEW, as they don’t want to over-saturate the titles.
Nick Jackson stated, “No, we don’t want to over-saturate the titles.” Which promptly brought out a comment by his brother Matt who chimed in, “We already have too many titles. Once you have that many it’s like..”
Nick then jumped back in to seemingly correct his brother by saying, “We have one.” Which Matt jokingly stated “Yeah, I think that’s enough.”
They then mentioned that the plan is to keep it simple, and that right now it’s a little premature to think about six-man titles.
