WWE will be bringing Smackdown Live to Fox in October of this year. Eric Bischoff will be the Executive Director for the blue brand from October as well. WWE will be trying to make their debut for Smackdown on Fox as huge as possible, so they are reportedly trying to bring in The Rock.
Joe Peisich said on the Barnburner Radio Network that WWE has high expectations and aspirations for Smackdown’s debut on Fox and are hoping they can get The Great One for Smackdown Live.
Joe said that WWE is pushing a panic button and trying to bring in superstars from the past. He also mentioned that for the first SmackDown on Fox in LA, apart from The Rock, they are trying to bring in Brock Lesnar and also Ric Flair too.
