The WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles have not been given much attention since Wrestlemania. The IIconics finally seem to have gotten some challengers for their titles and they are a formidable team.
Kairi Sane and Asuka squared off against The IIconics at Tokyo, where the stipulation was that if they managed to defeat the champions, they would get a chance at their titles. It seems that The Kabuki Warriors will get that chance because Sane and Asuka defeated Peyton Royce and Billie Kay.
While no date for the title match has been mentioned so far, WWE will try to do it as early as possible. With Extreme Rules taking place on July 14, it is likely that the title match will take place at the event.
